The collaboration between DIESEL and COCA-COLA is one of the loudest, if not the most important, collection happening in 2019. With sustainability in mind, the collection blends perfectly the DIESEL’s street attitude and COCA-COLA’s signature red color and logo.
Called the (RE)Collection, this beautifully crafted and edgy collection is made from recycled PET bottles. One could find the striking COCA-COLA logo and red banner attached or becoming details on a tracksuit, tee-shirt, denim, sweater, swimsuit to a beanie. The placement of the logo and banner altogether are smart and not overwhelming. On some items, the logo is a mix of COCA-COLA and DIESEL joined together with a contrasting black and red palette. Making it very desirable to own, especially to the streetwear enthusiasts.

Interestingly, Indonesian actor Mike Lewis wore some looks from the collection (we could find it on his recent Instagram posts) during separate occasions with two different attitudes. Some are very street looks, while the other is a rather preppy yet still in a casual attitude. Let’s discuss this.
For his Instagram posts, Mike was wearing some looks from the collection. In one picture, the father of one wore the #DIESELXCOCACOLA black tracksuit complete with a white beanie (also from the collection), and a pair of white high top sneakers. A comfy look for the upcoming colder days for sure. In the other picture, Mike replaced the jacket with another DIESEL leather jacket (featuring red and white details). In the other picture, he simply paired a white #DIESELXCOCACOLA tee shirt with the same white beanie.
The model and actor later made a surprise move during The Time Place 20th anniversary. He wore the black tee shirt from the #DIESELXCOCA-COLA limited collection with a black blazer and black tailored pants to the ballroom event. The total look was appropriate for a casual business meeting, don’t you think? Mike also accessorize his look that evening with a Baume et Mercier watch and glasses. Gearing into a more sophisticated vibe.
