As this year’s Met Gala red carpet was unveiled with the theme “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”, many attendees took direct inspiration from the Gilded Age, an era that saw America transformed at the end of the 19th century. With this glamorous and luxurious theme, some celebrities were spotted walking up to the red carpet all dressed up in Valentino.
The Valentino Fall/Winter 2022-23 are focusing on the Pink PP colour, it’s no surprise that the majority of Met Gala looks are filled with this iconic pink colour. Some celebrities like Nicola Peltz, who married Brooklyn Beckham last month, dressed up in a draped pink gown with a plunging neckline, while Brooklyn wore a Valentino Haute Couture look from the Spring 2022 collection which he styled with Valentino Garavani sneakers.

Besides the newlyweds, Glenn Close, Sebastian Stan, and Jenna Ortega were also seen wearing the designer’s signature hot pink from head to toe. Glenn Close showed up in a button-down and matching slacks underneath a Valentino embroidered cape jacket, Stan donned a button-down with loose pants, matching pink shoes, and an enormous pink Valentino jacket, while Jenna wore an embroidered tunic shirt with flower applications over a pair of hot pink tights and satin pink heels.

Aside from the Pink PP collection, we can see some celebrities like Paul Mescal and Conan Gray wearing their custom Valentino look. Paul Mescal wore a custom Valentino Couture tuxedo accented with a flower. Conan Gray served us with his custom Valentino embellished look and Valentino Garavani platform white boots with a rock roll edge that was perfect for him.
