K-pop star Jennie Kim from the supergroup BLACKPINK attended the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2022 ready-to-wear show in Paris. The singer and CHANEL brand ambassador joined other brand ambassadors, like Kristen Stewart and Lily-Rose Depp, to watch Virginie Viard’s latest creations for the iconic fashion house. The first physical fashion show, where guests are invited to come, during this pandemic period.
Her arrival in Paris has been expected by fans and fashion editors alike. Especially now that the shows are slowly coming back to its’ normal rythm. Pre-pandemic times, Jennie and her group members always managed to create buzz for their appearances at the fashion week. And sure did Jennie made the crowds go crazy when she was spotted arriving for the show at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris.

Before the show, Jennie also joined a shoot with other brand ambassadors to promote the show. Directed by the famous duo photographer Inez and Vinoodh – who also photographed and directed Jennie for the CHANEL Coco Neige ad campaign, Jennie was seen posing with a camera as if she’s ready to take a picture of something or someone in front of her.
Which later on revealed to be the actual mood of the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2022 ready-to-show. Virginie invited all the photographers to stand next to the elevated runway and let them have the best spots on the show – very 80s. While the guests were seated quite a distance from the runway. Jennie, wearing a red head-to-toe CHANEL look, was sitting next to Gossip Girl’s star Whitney Peak. After the show, Jennie was photographed hanging out with Kristen Stewart and Lily-Rose Depp.
