The actress attended Valentino’s fall/winter 2022 runway show in Paris on Sunday, and it’s evident she understood the mission. Zendaya, the new face of the Maison, dressed to the theme in a bright pink double-breasted jacket embellished with flower appliqués, matching slacks, and a plunging top in the same colour. The platform shoes were likewise a vibrant fuchsia colour that pulled her complete ensemble together.

Given the bold colour choice, the Spiderman: Homecoming star kept the rest of her ensemble basic, opting for sculptural gold earrings and a set of stacked necklaces as her sole accessories. She let her copper hair down with the ends turned out and had incredibly strong eyeliner to make it more glam.
Valentino revealed ahead of the fashion presentation that pink was at the heart of their new collection. “Pink is the colour of love, community, energy and freedom,” wrote Valentino on their official Instagram account, foreshadowing Zendaya’s appearance today in Paris to offer fans an exclusive peek at the Maison’s “rose-coloured, monochromatic universe.” She successfully pulled it off, after all.
