The Return of Panthère de Cartier

Jakarta, 28 September 2017 – After the successful party held in Los Angeles earlier this year, Cartier continued to celebrate the return of Panthère de Cartier in Jakarta at León with over 450 guests at the star-studded party. The distinguished city’s most notable guests were seen at the event, namely Maudy Ayunda, Luna Maya, Tara Basro, Jessica Iskandar, Atiqah Hasiholan, Rio Dewanto, and Claudia Novira.

A watch with a significant role in Cartier’s history of watchmaking, Panthère de Cartier was originally created in 1983. Ever since its introduction, Panthère de Cartier proved to be one of the most popular and emblematic pieces of the late 20th century worn as a jewellery watch. Cartier bell boys greeted guests as they entered the venue. Mingling through the beautiful crowd, guests were also able to discover Panthere Studio where they captured the dynamic motion in the party. At the stacking bar, the guests also admired the beauty of Panthère de Cartier watch collection as well as Cartier’s iconic jewellery collection Juste Un Clou and Love. The night was rhythmed by dynamic performances by P Double, GAC, Kallula, Pon Your Tone, Yarrai Rai, Kevin Widaya, Grey Box, and special appearance by Dipha Barus. It was a memorable party that paid homage to a remarkable watch… importantly, guests enjoyed themselves well into the night. Every detail of the event referenced the sublime elegance of the Panthère de Cartier in its many guises, and underlined the strong, spirited and sophisticated character of the women who chose to wear it.
