Might be one of the things that makes the fans of the show super excited to watch “And Just Like That…” the upcoming sequel of “Sex and The City” is the return of the legendary Fendi Baguette in the hand of Sarah Jessica Parker who plays Carrie Bradshaw – the famous protagonist from the iconic TV show.
The Timeless Baguette, made of maxi 3d purple sequins is a re-edition of the original version of the FENDI FW 1999/2000 Collection, which was carried by Sarah Jessica Parker in the acclaimed series in the early 2000s.
Looking at the circulating pictures, it is obvious that Carrie and her gang, sadly without Samantha Jones this time, are in their 50s. It’s been at least two decades since the Fendi Baguette firstly appeared in the hit TV show, funnily as collateral damage after Carrie was robbed in one of the episodes. And it’s pretty symbolic to Carrie’s style that the character is inseparable from her Baguette.
Since its first appearance in the TV show decades ago, Carrie and the Fendi Baguette did create a stylish duo. A rare moment in television history that becomes known worldwide wide, that Baguette is Carrie’s favorite handbag. That when everyone is discussing the bag, impossible not to include Carrie or Sarah Jessica Parker in that manner.
The Fendi Baguette was created by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997 and became very popular when it appeared in “Sex and The City”, and later often cited as the first “IT BAG.”
