Su Misura is ZEGNA’s world of made-to-measure: a one-of-a kind wardrobe built around the person who wears it. A dedicated team personalises and shapes a variety of pieces perfectly in the desired silhouette to reflect the wearer’s personal style. With hundreds of possible alterations and a range of exceptional textiles, customisation possibilities extend to buttons, linings, and finishing details. Within Su Misura sits three ZEGNA icons: our Trofeo fabric, the Abito #1 and the Falcon Jacket.
Trofeo is one of ZEGNA’s finest wool fabrics. Created by Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Mill in 1965, it was conceived as a fabric of rare balance: soft to the hand, strong in wear, and resilient by nature. Made from Australian super-fine merino wool, it was immediately celebrated for its rare ability to bring together refinement and performance. Sixty years on, Trofeo expresses the same character.
An iconic piece in our heritage, Abito #1 was inspired by our Founder’s suits in the 1930s. Crafted from 100% Australian wool, Abito #1 is recognised as ZEGNA’s first suit.
The Falcon Jacket was born from a story that begins in Oasi Zegna – a 100 km2 natural territory in the Italian Alps and the home of ZEGNA’s values – and looks outwards from there. An essential outerwear piece that brings together function and refinement in equal measure and is inspired by the animal that came to embody it and its ability to see beyond, a quality admired by our Founder.
ZEGNA’s FW26 campaign introduces the unique Su Misura experience. Global Ambassador Mads Mikkelsen takes one of his jackets to the tailor, to be altered for his son. A gift passed from one generation to the next – and a silent recognition that something profound has occurred.
The storytelling culminates in the tailor’s reflection on the meaning behind his craft. As he moves through each step, shaping the garment by hand, he considers what the work truly asks of him: not simply to build a beautiful suit, but to shape the shoulders that will carry a great life. He has watched men stand before the important moments in their lives, and every time, there is a small silence – the moment they look at themselves differently.
That silence is what he works for. This is the noble work of a tailor: understanding the man in front of him and crafting a wardrobe that reflects his character and story.
