“For Spring/Summer 2026, we were thinking about the complexity of women and different facets of their style. Femininity and strength, precision and imperfection. The clash of pristine tailoring with naive florals, seed beading with distressed leather. We continued to reinterpret American sportswear, juxtaposed with touches of romance, sentimentality and craft. A piped blazer was inspired by my father, and we referenced antique samplers for monogram embroidery with our design team’s initials.”
SILHOUETTES: We revisited icons of American sportswear: the polo, the trench, the striped shirt. A crisp counterpoint to romantic drop-waist dresses that nod to the 1920s. Tailoring proportions shifted lower with hip-slung trousers and leather skirts. Jackets have invisible zippers at the center back seam to adjust the shape, and a few pieces nod to Tory’s father, Buddy, including a piped blazer modeled after his own design.
FABRICATIONS: Refined wool and sporty waxed canvas balance opulent materials that feel worn-in and aged: wrinkled lamé, crushed viscose, shredded silk. On a closer look, they’re “imperfections” done in the most perfect way: frayed edges are engineered to stay intact, and sheer polos are “mended” with seed beads.
EMBELLISHMENT & TECHNIQUE: A renewed focus on embellishment: cardigans and mesh dresses are entirely hand-stitched with seed beads; silk chiffon is hand-pleated; viscose is hand-smocked. All-over monograms were inspired by antique embroidery samplers, each representing a member of our design team.
HANDBAGS: Our Lee Radziwill bag, originally designed in 2018, is pared-back and lightened up; a few feature metal handles or beading. Our Romy bucket bag returns in distressed leather, while chain mesh and crochet totes lend a casual, off-hand energy.
SHOES: Low pumps and sandals were inspired by a vintage 1950s style, decorated with sequins, pearls and tiny seed beads in rococo pastels. Distressed leather pumps and slingbacks borrow details from men’s shoes, with mixed-metal chains across the vamp.
JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES: More is more! Earrings and necklaces pseudo-match the shoes with pearls, glass flowers and seed beads wrapped around twisted chains. Shells are woven through hidden slits in jackets. Pins are affixed to clothing, straps and bags, an old-world touch juxtaposed with futuristic wrap-around sunglasses.
THE SHOW: Thank you to our venue, 1 Hanson Place, an iconic New York landmark. Wladimir Schall produced the music, which included “Climbatize” by The Prodigy; “Up All Night” by SAULT; “Home” (Tom Scarlett Edit) by LCD Soundsystem; “I Am a Timebomb” by Peta Lily and Michael Process; and “All I Do Is Work” by Kurtis Perrie.
