“Opulent femininity meets American pragmatism, seen through the collector’s eye. Spring/Summer 2027 explores the psychology of how women pull things together. They want beauty, utility, and humor—the joy of getting dressed.”
SILHOUETTES: Athletic knits, hip-slung skirts, drawstring trousers, and patch pocket shirts act as a canvas for the season’s rich palette and ornate details. Opera coats are cut with the ease of a favorite trench, and sharp tailoring is pushed gently off kilter.
FABRICATIONS: An exploration of texture, depth, and pattern. Menswear wools are lightened with silk; paper cotton is tie-dyed and washed; wallpaper jacquards are lined with contrasting silks and fils coupés. Beachy “terrycloth” is rendered in chenille, while crepe de chine is glazed to a liquid drape.
PALETTE: An optimistic sense of color with unexpected combinations. On the vibrant side: coral, turquoise, violet, mint, vermillion, and butter yellow—played off deep browns and cool neutrals.
EMBELLISHMENT & CRAFT: More is more in metallic embroideries, flocked pie-crust cardigans, and polkadot yarns. Painterly handmade feathers are tufted into scarves and pompoms, draped around shoulders or bags for an exuberant flourish.
HANDBAGS: Our new Lee Radziwill shopper takes inspiration from the humble paper bag with ultra-thin straps. A soft shoulder bag is bookended by kiss-lock pouches, and we continued our partnership with the Indian artisans of Marasim with our Handwoven Basket Tote in fresh colors and patterns.
SHOES: Inspired by draping fabric on the body, peep-toe pumps and Venetian-style slippers wrap and fold elegantly around the foot. Leather cord is hand-woven into elegant slingbacks, and delicate thongs are topped with jumbles of mother-of-pearl, beads, and faux shark teeth. On several styles, hand-painted soles extend and spiral around the heel — a take on past seasons’ twisted details.
JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES: The classic beaded necklace is reimagined in stacked resin beads, knotted nylon, and articulated brass spheres that open to reveal stones within. Sunglasses nod to sport in metal speed frames and quirky safety goggles.
