“Resort 2027 embraces an ‘everything but the kitchen sink’ sensibility a world of strange familiarity where classics are reimagined with irreverence. Chintz florals and glazed wallpaper jacquards are layered with sharp tailoring, utility jackets and cargo pants balancing refinement, eccentricity and charm. Acid brights, molten reds, ube, saffron and garden greens are mellowed by soft taupe and mushroom. Intense and intentionally odd, the result is a peculiar, spontaneous kind of beauty, where getting dressed becomes an act of optimism.
We took a second glance at ideas from recent collections: low-slung leather skirts, burnished to a high gloss; pleated skirts inset with razor-sharp edges; our Buddy Bag, named for my father; and hand-woven raffia totes made in partnership with artisan collective Marasim.” —Tory Burch
FABRICATIONS: Iridescent jacquards, laminated ribbon lace and shimmering Lurex are juxtaposed with “pilled” knits, crispy paper cotton and striped poplin washed to lived-in softness. We treated leather in multiple ways: tie-dye, crushed patent, and suede brushed with color to look raw and weathered.
SILHOUETTE: Classics ground the season’s odd textures and palette: shirting, cardigans, dickey sweaters, pencil skirts, reversible trench coats. Shirtdresses nod to midcentury elegance with tidy covered buttons and belts placed low on the hip.
We continued to explore draping and twisting with rosette tops, skirts, and dresses formed by swirling fabric into perfect petals.
PALETTE: A burst of vivid, hyperreal colors found in nature (and your spice drawer). Saffron, lime, ube, paprika and sumac offset by cool mushroom, brown and khaki.
HANDBAGS: Named for Tory’s father and inspired by a vintage dopp kit, Fall 2026’s Buddy Bag is back in patchworked metallics and tiger-striped calf hair. A mini Charlie shoulder bag tucks under the arm, and our partnership with women’s artisan collective Marasim continues with fringed totes handwoven in raffia and leather.
SHOES: Strappy, multi-buckle sandals are styled with nearly every look, in black, lilac, and tie-dyed leather. Flat leather boots and pumps are rubberized, an unexpected (and waterproof) counterpoint to the collection’s femininity and shine.
JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES: A new take on matching sets with resin flower earrings, chokers, and cuffs worn on both wrists. Fall’s hand-braided belts return in multicolored leather and soft webbing, and eyewear lends a touch of retro charm with ‘50s-inspired browline styles and oversized square frames.
