Tory Burch Fall/Winter 2026 Collection

“A meditation on what endures, especially in times of chaos and despair. Classics shaped by history and utility, made personal through our own stories and experiences — where true style originates.

We honoured what makes archetypes last while exploring technique and proportion. Cardigans gilded in badla embroidery, hand-done by Indian artisans; plush corduroys inspired by my father’s in apricot and saffron; Shetland wool sweaters brushed and washed to airy softness; drop-waist dresses undone at the seams. Sharp tailoring and sportswear thrown off by leather-wrapped shell earrings, sardine pins and handwoven leather and raffia bags.

The mix reflects how women dress now: by instinct, not rules. No one exemplified this quite like Bunny Mellon, the iconic horticulturist, landscape designer and philanthropist. This collection introduces the Bunny Knot, a detail inspired by a quilted cushion I found in her Antigua home. The simple knot is a reminder of connection, strength and unity.”

SILHOUETTE: Classics reinterpreted, not reinvented. The trench, the henley, the boatneck sweater, the pencil skirt. Also on the moodboard were photos of Bunny Mellon and Tory’s father, Buddy, who believed “classics become interesting with your personal take.”

EMBELLISHMENT & TECHNIQUE: Humble knits and silk dresses were thrown in the wash for a lived-in finish; jersey dresses are twisted and knotted around the body; cardigans and rounded coats are layered with metallic badla embroidery, hand-done by artisans in India.

HANDBAGS: Quilted shoulder bags feature our new Bunny Knot detail in leather and metal. Soft duffles reference vintage military dopp kits, alongside a new Charlie satchel. Hand-woven raffia and leather bags were inspired by the ones Tory carried in high school.

SHOES: The roundness and volume of ladylike pumps is juxtaposed with cut-out loafers, flat boots and high-vamp heels with angular Bunny Knot hardware. A new embellished low pump comes in ultra-plush velvet stitched with pearls.

JEWELLERY & ACCESSORIES: Natural materials lend organic contrast: shells, lava rock beads and embossed leather, plus fish pendants and sardine pins. Spring’s wrap-around sunglasses return in metal, and delicate watches nod to vintage timepieces.

THE SHOW: Thank you to our venue, Sotheby’s at the Breuer. The New York landmark was designed by Bauhaus architect Marcel Breuer in the 1960s and restored by Sotheby’s for a new generation. Wladimir Schall produced the music, which included “The Art of Meditation” by Sigur Rós; “Formless” by Paul Corley and Alan Watts; “Stumble Out of Bed” by The Bran Flakes; “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton; “Pinky’s Dream” (Trentemøller Remix) by David Lynch and Karen O; “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” by Desire and Guy Gerber; and “The Order of Death” by Public Image Ltd.
