CHANEL is thrilled to announce that Nicole Kidman, the Academy Award-winning actor and producer, icon of cinema, has been appointed House Ambassador.
An Academy Award and six-time Golden Globe Award-winner, Nicole Kidman is one of the greatest actors of our time and a cinema icon, with a career spanning film, television and theatre. As a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, she is an advocate for women’s rights around the world. She has also been a champion for women’s causes in cinema, consistently supporting female directors with whom she pledged, in 2017, to work with every 18 months (a commitment she has far exceeded).
Her history with the House began in 2004, when she starred as House ambassador in the N°5 fragrance campaign directed by Baz Luhrmann. She wore CHANEL on the red carpet on numerous occasions, maintaining close ties with the House and being part of its imagination ever since.

On Monday, October 6, 2025, the actor will attend the Spring Summer 2026 show at the Grand Palais in Paris, where Matthieu Blazy will unveil his first collection for CHANEL.
