Maison Valentino Reveals Devain Chapter 2

Maison Valentino Reveals Devain Chapter 2

Nine International Artists Interpret The Valentino Garavani DeVain Bag  Through An Experimental Visual Narrative

Milan, December 1st, 2025 Maison Valentino continues its exploration of contemporary creativity  through the digital lens, presenting the second chapter of the digital creative project dedicated to the  Valentino Garavani DeVain bag.

Following the November 18th release of the first five artists — Thomas Albdorf, Enter The Void, Paul  Octavious, Albert Planella, and Tina Tona — this new chapter unveils the works of four additional  international talents: Animus Pax, Annie Collinge, Total Emotional Awareness, and Z_Captures, each  offering a personal interpretation of the DeVain bag.

Once again, the DeVain becomes the protagonist of four new visual narratives, as each artist brings their  own language and sensibility to the project:

Animus Pax creates a series of stop-motion films in which the bag comes to life frame by frame,  revealing its texture and personality through a poetic, tactile approach.

Annie Collinge constructs a dreamlike tableau, blending real objects and cut-out silhouettes to blur the  boundaries between reality and play. Her immersive, ironic world invites viewers to explore the space  where imagination and humor meet.

Total Emotional Awareness leads viewers into a surreal realm where pop imagery merges with the  DeVain. Expanding and multiplying forms accompany a visionary journey through boundless geometries  and pure imagination.

Z_Captures sets the universe of the DeVain in bold contrast with everyday pop objects, creating striking  visual collisions. His work fuses fantasy and pop culture, shaping a language built on strong dualities  and unexpected juxtapositions.

Through this second release, Maison Valentino continues its pursuit of human creativity and digital  experimentation, reaffirming the value of artistic collaboration as an authentic expression of the present.

THE VALENTINO GARAVANI DEVAIN BAG

Signed by Valentino’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele and first introduced in the Pre -Fall 2025  collection, the Valentino Garavani DeVain embodies a new vision of contemporary femininity. A soft,  versatile clutch, the DeVain reinterprets the sophisticated Vain family in a deconstructed version that  retains its grace and elegance while revealing a more fluid character. Its name evokes a sense of freedom  and plays on the idea of feeling “divine” in a unique and self-aware way: a tension between refinement  and ease that defines its spirit.

Available from mid-November, the DeVain comes in twenty-seven variations: from monochrome  versions in nappa or metallic nappa to denim, crochet raffia and shearling embellished with multicolored  crystals. Precious skins, thread and bead embroideries, and romantic combinations of floral garlands and  velvet further expand the expressive universe of the bag.

Each clutch also features a leather tag that can be personalized with the client’s initials, embossed in an  exquisite antique-brass hue. This personalization service, transforming the bag into a true expression of  individual style, is available in a selection of Valentino boutiques worldwide and on Valentino.com.
