THE VALENTINO GARAVANI PANTHEA BAG
First unveiled during Le Méta-Théâtre Des Intimités, the Maison’s Fall Winter 2025/2026 collection, the Valentino Garavani Panthea bag has affirmed its place at the heart of the Valentino Garavani accessories. Consistently present in the collections by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, the Panthea has evolved into a signature bag, reinforcing its original character through every seasonal iteration.

A perfect synthesis of elegance and daring, the Panthea stands out for its structured and sophisticated silhouette, enhanced by sculptural details and exquisite metallic finishes. On the front panel, two enameled feline heads, edged in gold and embellished with crystals, serve as hooks for the chain handles – becoming both iconic emblems and focal points of the design.
Infused with a dual spirit – bourgeois and underground – the Panthea turns contrast into its defining aesthetic code. Its construction combines two types of nappa leather, matte and waxed, crafted into a refined chevron pattern that amplifies the interplay of tones and textures while emphasizing the bag’s tactile richness and softness. An additional detachable leather shoulder strap with all-over eyelets, adds versatility and a contemporary attitude.
The feline head motif, reinterpreted in the Panthea as a three-dimensional jewel-like element, is deeply rooted in the Maison’s history. It first appeared in Valentino’s Haute Couture Fall Winter 1967/1968 collection, on a silk mikado evening tunic adorned with a pattern of large black felines with gem-like eyes. Since then, the feline silhouette – flat, essential, and iconic – has traversed Valentino’s creative tradition, reappearing on Valentino Garavani accessories such as silk scarves, belt buckles, minaudières, and fashion jewelry.
Available in medium and small sizes, the bag comes in a palette of hues including black, mud green, beige, chocolate brown and red. The Panthea family also extends to variations in nappa leather combined with precious skins or suede, further accentuating its bold and contemporary character.

The shoes’ design is thoughtfully reimagined to highlight the contemporary appeal of the Rockstud – a motif that, preserving its iconic geometry, stands as a structural code of the Maison.

The Valentino Garavani Rockstud pumps new silhouette introduces a fashion-forward appeal to the Rockstud family and reinterprets the timeless cage design through chiseled pointy toes with a sleek platinum finish and signature red insoles.
