October 31st, 2025 – FENDI unveils a special music project in collaboration with Bang Chan, leader of global K-pop group Stray Kids and Brand Ambassador of the Maison, with the release of the new single ‘Roman Empire’, featuring a music video filmed at Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, FENDI’s headquarters in Rome. Recognized as one of today’s most influential global artists, the song is written, composed and produced by Bang Chan, and reflects the shared excellence and creativity with FENDI. Redefining craftsmanship and modern expression through a new lens, the track pays tribute to FENDI’s timeless icons – the Peekaboo bag and the letter “F” – reimagined through the language of music. Masterfully bridging FENDI’s Roman legacy with Bang Chan’s vision, this project creates an extraordinary artistic synergy, as demonstrated in the video that brings together Bang Chan’s musical sensibility and the House’s heritage.
The video opens with a simple, understated portrayal of the artist, reminiscent of his pre-debut days. As the video progresses – with Bang Chan showcasing a variety of styles from the Pre-Collection Spring/Summer 2026 – it traces his artistic evolution, alternating interior and exterior shots of Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, and culminating in his emergence as a leading global artist. The narrative highlights both Bang Chan’s personal growth and his bond with FENDI, mirroring the House’s creativity while also encouraging to recognize and amplify one’s creative potential through synergistic collaborations.
“A song about FENDI. It compares love to the eternity and grandeur of the Roman Empire, weaving symbols of the Maison – such as the iconic Peekaboo bag and the signature ‘F’ logo – into the lyrics to reinterpret Rome’s heritage in a modern way,” said Bang Chan. He added, “The track blends smooth, emotional vocals with dreamy synths, layered over a powerful kick-driven rhythm, creating an R&B/Miami Bass sound.”
The project will launch with a teaser on October 31st, offering a first glimpse of the collaboration. The full version will officially debut on November 3rd, celebrated with a special premiere at K-pop Square’s mega screen in COEX, with the video screened nine times between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
