On 1st February 2026, CHANEL opened its temporary boutique at the renowned shopping centre, Plaza Indonesia. Reaching over 4,700 square feet, this new space is just steps away from the original CHANEL Fashion boutique, which is currently being renovated before its grand reopening in 2027. This temporary space is dedicated to the latest CHANEL collections of Ready-to-Wear, bags, shoes, costume jewellery and eyewear, along with an exclusive selection of Watches and Fine Jewelry creations.

Iconic design elements pay tribute to 31 rue Cambon
The boutique brings together the quintessential pillars of the House, luxury, elegance and modernity, creating a harmonious environment that quietly embodies CHANEL. The boutique’s strikingly minimalist white façade stands out, inviting a closer look. Once inside, guests are immersed in an interior defined by pure lines and a sophisticated interplay of materials, including marble, bronze and tweed, all adhering to the CHANEL palette of white, beige, and gold.
Every detail in the boutique pays tribute to the craftsmanship and legacy of the House. Evoking the sophisticated atmosphere of Mademoiselle Chanel’s own legendary Parisian apartment at 31 rue Cambon through a contemporary lens, the space features bespoke design elements and a collection of modern art pieces, referencing the House iconography.

Dedicated spaces for a journey of discovery
On stepping into the boutique, clients encounter the latest bag and accessories collections including the newest CHANEL 25 handbag alongside standout pieces from this season. A luminous gold oil painting by Robert Greene draws the gaze in, offering an immediate sense of artistry.
An intimate space features a dazzling array from the CHANEL Watches and Fine Jewelry collections. Guests will be able to discover the latest Coco Crush creations, as well as the Camélia Fine Jewelry collection that will be introduced for the first time in the boutique. Alongside, the iconic Watch collections such as J12, Première, BOY·FRIEND and Code Coco, are at the heart of this universe.
Further along, the shoe salon is enhanced by “La Gloire”, a glazed stoneware and gold-leaf sculpture by ceramic artist Johan Creten. Tweed sofas provide a refined moment of repose, allowing guests to peruse the shoes offering in comfort. Overhead hangs a remarkable chandelier that has been specially crafted by Goossens, the esteemed goldsmiths who, since 2015, have been part of the CHANEL Métiers d’art, which celebrates the House’s commitment to preserving and perpetuating extraordinary savoir-faire.
Passing through a vestibule adorned with two glass beaded artworks by Liza Lou, clients arrive in the Ready-to-Wear salons. Here a chair by celebrated American designer Wendell Castle and a sculptural side table by Christophe Côme, along with tweed sofas, complete the salon’s singular and exclusive character.
The boutique opens with the Spring-Summer 2026 pre-collection. This collection redefines modern essentials with relaxed, fluid silhouettes crafted from silk, cotton and tweed, supple leathers, cashmere, and diaphanous lace in neutral and pastel tones. Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s vision, the collection blends sporty knits with graphic prints and innovative shapes, balancing sophistication with youthful ease. Signature codes are subtly reimagined as details like double C motifs, braided trims, and floral accents, imbuing the collection with an intuitive elegance and effortless style.
This new boutique offers an unforgettable shopping experience in Jakarta, where clients will discover the creations and explore the essence of the House, all while enjoying exceptional service.
