Cartier Welcomes Gemma Chan as Its Latest Ambassador

Cartier is very pleased to announce Gemma Chan as its latest ambassador.

This official partnership follows a long, organic collaboration with Ms Chan and her participation in the Maison’s cultural events.

Gemma Chan is known for her diverse roles across film and television, including the BAFTA-nominated Channel 4/AMC series Humans, the critically acclaimed film Crazy Rich Asians, and she lent her voice to the Academy Award-winning animated feature The Boy and the Heron. Gemma was most recently seen in Duke Johnson’s, The Actor, opposite André Holland. She will next star opposite Channing Tatum in Josephine, directed by Beth de Araújo.

Beyond acting, Chan has turned her hand to producing. She is currently developing and starring in a biopic about the legendary Chinese-American actress Anna May Wong, executive producing alongside Working Title Films. She will also serve as an executive producer on Amazon MGM Studios TV series, Rise of the Empress.

Her multifaceted career demonstrates her commitment to both performance and impactful storytelling. Chan is also a UNICEF UK Ambassador.

“I am delighted to join the Maison Cartier as an ambassador and honoured to mark the announcement at this exceptional display of creativity and savoir-faire in Stockholm. I have long appreciated the beauty and finesse of the Maison’s creations, and I look forward to continuing this exciting collaboration.”
