Berluti presents “A Journey in Craft” with Brand Ambassador Lee Jun Ho

A Film Series Celebrating Maison’s Living Savoir‑Faire and Heritage

“A Journey in Craft” is a compelling film series that follows Brand Ambassador Lee Jun Ho into the heart of Berluti’s legendary savoir‑faire, spanning Italy and France – the two beating hearts of the Maison. This multi-episode series will accompany Jun Ho from the Manifattura in Ferrara, through the enchanting canals of Venice, to the reputable bespoke bootmaking and tailoring workshops in Paris. The series will unfold in two distinct sequences. The exploration of Berluti’s Italian origins will be revealed first, followed by Jun Ho’s immersion into the Maison’s Parisian heritage in Fall 2026.
Through intimate moments of discovery and transmission, the series illuminates craft as an experience to be felt, learned, and carried forward. It spotlights not only on Lee Jun Ho, but also the exceptional artisans who make Berluti what it is.

Sequence 1: Italy – Berluti’s Italian Genesis

Episode I — Ferrara: The Temple of Savoir-Faire

The journey commences within Berluti’s Manifattura in Ferrara. A temple of Savoir-Faire, where over 300 highly skilled artisans meticulously transform Berluti’s creative vision into reality. This episode delves into the intricate stages of leather shoe creation, guiding viewers through exquisite materials, precise gestures, and unique techniques that define the Maison. Amidst this sanctuary of Italian craftsmanship, Jun Ho engages with the artisans, who share their passion and dedication to the Maison. They also initiate him into the secrets of the Maison’s iconic patina and the masterful construction of its legendary Alessandro Oxford shoe.

Episode II — Venice: A Perpetual Source of Inspiration

La Serenissima, as Venice is called since the Middle Ages, has served as a profound source of inspiration for Berluti since its inception. It famously lent its name to Berluti’s signature leather and inspired Maison’s distinctive use of color.

Narrated by Lee Jun Ho, this second episode shifts in tone and perspective. As he navigates Venice, the film elegantly draws parallels between the city’s serene elegance, the interplay of light and water, stone sculptured by time, and the distinctive character of Berluti’s Venezia leather and its refined patina – a unique know-how which makes Berluti’s leather so special. Cruising the Grand Canal, Jun Ho wears Berluti’s Forestière jacket in light linen, its vibrant lilac color perfectly mirroring the sunset.

This story transcends a simple resolution; it deeply resonates. Berluti and Lee Jun-Ho will continue to enrich this story with a forthcoming chapter, set in Paris, where he will live the full Berluti bespoke experience and further experience how craft lives on through time, connection, and the quiet transmission of expertise.
