“More than a collection, this is a reflection of how I want to live. We are not really talking about fashion here; we are talking about clothes, about life, about movement, about freedom. We are talking about the joy of getting dressed in the morning, of walking through the city, of meeting friends, of feeling comfortable in your own skin.
This collection was created with optimism, energy, and a genuine sense of happiness. It captures the spirit of Paris, the warmth of memories, and the people who inspire me every day. These are clothes made to be lived in — to wander, to travel, to laugh, to work, to celebrate, and simply to enjoy life. For me, clothing should never feel restrictive. It should bring ease, confidence, and freedom. It should make you feel a little lighter, a little brighter, and a little more joyful”.

THE COLLECTION
For Spring-Summer 2027, Alexandre Mattiussi continues his exploration of archetypal masculine tailoring, delivering a collection that is at once deeply sentimental and entirely fresh. Building upon the foundations established in prior seasons, the lineup marks a natural evolution, shaped by a mix-and-match aesthetic that is inherently chic yet wholly effortless.
Everyday life is celebrated through a diverse array of characters who walk the streets of Paris, each channeling the distinct energy of the city’s neighborhoods. There is a profound emotional connection to clothing; the comforting familiarity of long-cherished wardrobe staples — the memory of a favorite childhood t-shirt or a borrowed suit jacket — pairs with a vibrant energy.
The balance between masculine and feminine codes results in an unstudied, urban attitude — an authentic reflection of how people dress and express their identity. On the runway, this translates into a specific tension between the precise nature of tailoring and a sportier, more eclectic sensibility. The silhouette is liberated, revealing a decisive shift toward fluidity and lightness. Shapes are softened, deconstructed, semi-lined or completely unlined, and infused with a cool sophistication that feels both uncomplicated and intentional. Contrasting volumes juxtapose sharp, fitted lines with loose, oversized proportions, creating a dynamic flow.
The palette is grounded in neutral tones, with pure white and pearl-gray monochromes, natural shades, and vibrant pops of color like ruby red, ochre, and cobalt blue. The texture play is equally deliberate: crisp poplins, fluid silks, and fine wools spark a constant dialogue between structure and suppleness, right down to the technical finesse of the nylon garments and bags, and the performance materials used on the sneakers.
Sartorial flair is mixed with a casual attitude: cargo constructions, vintage-washed t-shirts, joyful stripes, and graphic prints. This styling approach — layering pieces, embodying timelessness, and blending nonchalance with refinement — composes a versatile rhythm where everything connects.
Accessories focus on intuitive design, tactility, and understated luxury. The Boyfriend Bag embraces an unstructured, broken-in silhouette, crafted from supple Nappa leathers that take on a beautiful shape with wear. The Bingo Bag is defined by a sliding metal sphere that serves as both a signature detail and a functional element, allowing for an adjustable shoulder-to-crossbody style, sculpted in a soft silhouette.
Footwear ranges from new sneakers with a retro collegiate vibe to the reinvention of the Mirage running shoe — which also appears in a bold athletic version — alongside injected-rubber slip-ons and lace-ups featuring a trompe l’œil effect. Jewelry completes the narrative with stackable designs and Parisian-inspired charms adorned with hearts, streetlamps, and newspapers, while throwback sunglasses add a finishing touch to the look.
THE VENUE
The show was hosted at the former Cartier Foundation, a magnificent glass structure designed by Jean Nouvel, conveying Alexandre’s love for art and architecture. This venue provided a spectacular setting that blurred the boundaries between interior and exterior, with light filtering and refracting through the transparent architecture.
The emotional arc unfolded across a three-part soundtrack that echoed the collection’s evolving energy. The journey began with the cinematic introspection of Andrea Laszlo De Simone’s Le Vol, Part 1, before shifting into the soulful groove of Amadou & Mariam’s Sabali, and culminating with the electronic beat of Behind the Line by Enfant Sauvage & Møme.
THE CASTING
The casting embodies the joyful, inclusive spirit of the collection, with a spontaneous diversity of characters that celebrates individuality and the multifaceted nature of Paris itself. The models’ energy evokes the carefree mood of early summer evenings — that magical moment when anything feels possible. The show introduces a group of cool, charismatic individuals you want to be friends with: real people with real stories, each bringing their own personality to the clothes. The cast includes Amélia Gray, Jacqui Hooper, Rebecca Leigh, Apolline Rocco Fohrer as well as Anwar Hadid, Malik Derdak and Yura Romaniuk.
